Great place in the Everglades! A bit of a drive to get down there... And make sure you have a spare. I hit a screw on my first trip down and had to turn around. Mosquitoes were everywhere and the Off spray didn't do much good but if you're not scared of Zika it's nothing to complain about.
The place is great for camping. Clean and quite. This place carries a lot of memories for me!
We loved the park so much we bought an annual pass! Please bring insect repellent, make sure your doors are working on your tent, don't leave ANY GOOD OUT EVER! The birds completely went into a box and took out hotdog buns and chips. It was scary to watch and intriguing but they are hunters. Don't put food in your tent. Secure it in a plastic tote and tape it down if not lock it in your vehicle. Have fun!!!
